In the beginning of 2015, OMGL Gold Refinery established as a Gold refinery in Rudrapur – Uttarakhand, wherein the company has refining capacity of 40 MT of Gold Dore. The company has in the last few months been the 2nd highest Importer of Gold Dore into the country and the 1st largest importer of Gold Dore in the private sector refining industry. The Company has been Importing the Gold Dore from the following countries i.e. Ghana, Guinee, Mali, Peru, Colombia. The company manufactures 1 Kg bars of 995 purity, 100 gm bar of 999 purity and 100 gm bars of 999.9 purity in the brand name of “OMGL”.
OMGL refinery has the technical capability to refine and fabricate Gold upto 999.9 fineness. The company has procured and installed proven Refinery Technology and Equipment.
The technical and other personnel are trained for operation and day to day maintenance of the plant. The technology and operating systems are fully absorbed. OMGL ensures that the Laboratory in the refinery functions in compliance with the High Standards as required by the Indian Standards. Truly state of the art, the OMGL assay laboratory provides its clientele with a comprehensive range of services that includes fire, X Ray, XRF and chemical assays. All Dore arriving at the refinery is melted and sampled.
